Meet Karli Anderson, Artistic Director

Karli Anderson is thrilled to be joining the Phoenix Women’s Chorus as Artistic Director. Her choral career began at a young age with the San Francisco Girls Chorus, where she discovered just how powerful singing in a choir can be.  Since then, she has sung with choirs across the nation, including the San Antonio Mastersingers, the Yellow Rose Singers, and the Phoenix Symphony Chorus.  In 2017, Karli graduated with a Masters in Conducting from University of Texas, San Antonio.  She also holds a Bachelors in Musical Studies from Oberlin College.

Currently, Karli is a full-time teacher at Great Hearts Anthem, where she is head of the arts department, and leads eight different high-school ensembles.  In addition to PWC, Karli also serves as a Director for Arizona Girlchoir.  She is passionate about the transformative power of music, and the unique joy of performing in an ensemble.  She fully embraces the PWC Mission, and is looking forward to continuing on new adventures with the ensemble.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking and playing RPGS.
